Data protection

Our website can as general rule be used without having to provide any personal details. When personal details (for instance name, address and e-mail addresses) are collected on our site, this is always done, as far as is possible, on a voluntary basis. These details will not be forwarded to third parties without your express consent. We would draw your attention to the fact that data transfer on the Internet (e.g. during communication by e-mail) may involve gaps in security. It is not possible to fully protect data from being accessed by third parties. The use of contact details published within the context of legal information obligations by third parties for the sending of advertising and information material which has not been requested, is prohibited. The site operators expressly reserve the right to take legal action in the event of any unsolicited advertising information being forwarded, via spam mails for instance.

Data protection policy for the use of Facebook plug-ins (‘Like’ button)

Plug-ins for the social network Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated on our site. Facebook plug-ins can be recognised by the Facebook logo or the "Like" button on our site. An overview dealing with Facebook plug-ins is available here:

When you visit our site, the plug-in creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. From this Facebook receives information via your IP address that you have visited our site. If you click the Facebook "Like " button when you are logged-in to your Facebook account, you can link the contents of our pages to your Facebook profile. Through this, Facebook can then attribute your visit to our site to your user account. We would like to point out that as a provider of these pages we receive no knowledge of the content of the data supplied, or their use by Facebook. Further information on this matter is available in the Facebook data protection policy at: If you do not wish Facebook to be able to attribute your visit to our sites, please log out of your Facebook user account.

Data protection statement for the use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses so-called "cookies", texts, which are stored on your computer to help the website analyse how users use the website. The information that the cookie generates on your use of this website will generally be transferred to and stored on a Google server in the USA.

Google will use this information on behalf of the operator of this website in order to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and in order to provide the website operator with more services connected with the use of the website and the Internet. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where third parties process this data on behalf of Google. Google will not associate your IP address with any other data held by Google Inc.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by the respective setting on your browser software; we would however point out that you will not in this case be able to use all of this website’s functions. You can also prevent Google from downloading, installing and processing the recording of the data created by the cookie and relating to your use of the data (incl. your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plug-in via the following link:

Display of interest based Advertising with the help of "Re-targeting".

This website uses so-called "Re-targeting Tags". These are small Javascript elements which sit in the website's source code. When a user visits a page on this website which contains a "Re-targeting Tag", a Cookie from a third party Online advertising company (e.g. Google) will be stored on the visitor's computer and this cookie defines the relevant "Re-targeting" list for this visitor. This cookie is then also used to allocate Re-targeting campaigns ("Interest based Advertising") on other websites. Studies have shown that showing this kind of "Interest based Advertising" is more interesting for internet users than advert which have no direct relevance to the user's interests or previously visited websites.

Settings and Deactivation Options

Third parties, specifically Google, use these Cookies to display adverts based on the previous visits of users to our website. No personal information is stored in this process. Users of this website can disable the use of cookies from Google by going to the Google Advertising Terms & Conditions page.
