Potassium soap from vegetable oils (10–20 %), tri-sodium salt of citric acid (tri-sodium citrate), water-based, contents from selfrenewable natural materials.

ATTENTION: soap solidifies at low temperature; it becomes fluid again at room temperature (21° C); this does not harm the soap.

Shake wood floor soap well before use!

1. Fill both buckets with warm water.
2. Add the suitable mafi Wood Floor Soap into one of the two buckets (125 ml soap and 5 l of water). This two bucket principle ensures the clean soapy water does not get mixed with the dirty water.
3. Starting at the edge of the room, wipe the soapy water mixture in the direction of the door/exit using a cotton cloth mop (mafi Vulcano floors should only be lightly wiped).
4. After a short soak time, the surplus water should be wiped off with the cotton cloth mop. The mafi Wood Floor Soap dissolves the dirt from the pores and the contaminations are then removed from the wood with the second wipe of the mop.
5. Thereafter, the cotton cloth mop is washed out with clean water in the second bucket.
6. Finally, steps 3–5 are repeated for the remaining floor area.

IMPORTANT: Use Wood Floor Soap for every damp mopping! Once a week in the first month after instal-lation, later as required. (If the floor is soiled or looks dry, increase the amount of soap if necessary).

To maintain the value of your oiled wooden flooring an ambient humidity of 40–60 % and room temperature of 21° C are required!

We recommend to reoil the surface 6 hours after installation at the earliest, for full surface adhesion of the floor. The instructions of the adhesive manufacturer should always be observed.

The mafi wood floor oil is applied locally in small amounts on the floor. The oil is to be distributed immediately using a single-disc polishing machine with a matching white polishing fleece and massaged into the wood.

The polishing machine and the white pad should be placed directly on the spot with the oil and only then activated. This prevents any oil splashes. It is recommended to apply only in small areas, and always in the direction of the planks.

Any remaining oil residues (splash, excess oil etc.) must be removed immediately with a cloth or polished using the fleece.

Edges and hard to reach corners should be re-oiled manually.

After polishing the oil in with the white polishing fleece, the entire area should be polished dry with sheep’s wool pads. No oil residue should remain on the surface. Any leftover oil will get sticky.

After oiling, the floor can be gently walked on after 24 hours. The final hardening of the oil needs approx. 10–14 days – depending on the room temperature, humidity and ventilation. During this time, the floor may not come into contact with water or be treated with other cleaning agents – risk of stains.

If the floor should take heavier use after the first 24 hours, it is recommended to cover the dry floor with a breathable mat. Before the mat can be laid, the surface must be checked to ensure it is dry.

1 litre for approx. 60–90 m² depending on absorption rate of the wood. With Vulcano floors, the demand may be higher. With raw floors, the demand may be twice as high.

1. Warm the fat stain briefly with a hairdryer - this re-liquifies the fat.
2. Spray the stain from about 20 cm away.
3. Allow to work for three minutes.
4. Then, wash the area with warm water and the relevant mafi wood floor soap (do not scrub!).
5. Once the area is dry, check to see if the stain has disappeared. Repeat the process if necessary.

Oxalic acid

P305+P351+P338: IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove existing contact lenses if possible. Continue to rinse.

The affected area is first moistened with water. Then the Anti Grey Deep Cleaner is applied with a small paint brush, allowed to soak for a short time and then washed off with water in combination with mafi Wood Floor Soap. The process can be repeated several times. ATTENTION: The Anti Grey Deep Cleaner bleaches the wood – therefore the soaking time should not be too long and all traces must be removed afterwards. The result is only visible once completely dry. A decision on a re-application should only be made on the basis of the visible wood colour thereafter.
