Diversity instead of similarity is what nature has given us humans as an infinite source of inspiration.

The Larch is one of the hardest wood species within the conifer family. This allows for the use also in highly frequented areas in the floor sector. Characteristics such as the strong grain and the relatively high number of knots give the planks a lively character.

During the production, the mafi Larch Vulcano undergoes a natural baking process which is specifically used to enrich the variety of colours available. The Vulcano chemical-free thermo treatment dries the Larch wood with heat, water and wind; and thus creates a wide range of colours from light to dark brown. The mafi Larch Vulcano is therefore classified as a very lively natural wood floor.

The white oiled variant offers a way to achieve more uniformity in the floor’s surface image. As a result, the parquet floor gets a light white, matt haze which makes the planks appear more modern and also helps reduce the colour differences between the planks. This effect is intensified by regular care with the mafi Wood Floor Soap white. Nevertheless, our natural wood floors may, or rather must include a colour spectrum which as uniformity is something that does not exist in nature.
